SC300K at the German Port of Hamburg

Scanclimber’s range of hoists had undergone developments. With the SC300K and SC400K developed according to their latest requirements, the performance spectrum expanded significantly.

The hoist started with a carrying capacity of 300 kg and was thus designed to transport 3 to 4 people at once. It was based on a proven mast system with a maximum anchor distance of 7,5 meters and was designed to operate also on sloping mounting grounds.

A special protection against corrosion of the steel construct and against humidity had to be taken into account, as these crane hoists are often used sea-side. Four SC300K units were fitted on ship unloaders at the Port of Hamburg.
